Job summary

Rexel USA in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver products to customers, branch and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck. The role emphasizes safe operation, accurate loading/unloading, and compliant paperwork.

The Senior Truck Driver will mentor junior drivers and may assist with branch duties as needed. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, DOT compliance, on-time deliveries, proper documentation, and collaboration with branches.

Qualifications

• Must attend company driver training if no experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass Motor Vehicle Record review
• Must obtain non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• No suspended license in last 3 years
• No at fault accidents in last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced and maintained
• Follow DOT and state driving laws
• Load/unload, verify quantity and type of materials
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signatures
• Coordinate returns, inspect condition and quantities
• Assist in other branch duties as needed
• Participate in training of entry level drivers
