Job summary

Graybar in Eugene, Oregon seeks a Delivery Driver to safely deliver orders to customers with emphasis on on-time service and friendly, professional interaction. You will drive a Graybar truck or van, load and unload, and maintain accurate logs while following safety protocols.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday daytime, with home each night and comprehensive benefits supporting health, life, and retirement plans, plus opportunities for learning and career development.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.
• Experience driving a van or 26,000 GVW truck.
• Valid state driver’s license for vehicle type.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route - no overnights or weekends away.
