Job summary

East Bay Restaurant Supply, Inc. is looking for a Delivery Person to handle local deliveries and assist current crews. You will maintain contact with the Warehouse Delivery Center, manage shipping/receiving, and help with general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts with certification, palletizing orders, and ensuring accuracy while following safety standards. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test and maintain a clean DMV report.
• Forklift and/or order picker experience required.
• Knowledgeable in safely securing equipment on the delivery trucks.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in driving a 26' bobtail truck with lift gate.
• Capable of lifting equipment up stairs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions while working collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely (certification preferred).
• Palletize orders; load and unload trucks.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize computers and warehouse systems for inventory and order tracking.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Comply with all safety standards and company policies.
• Required to assist in offloading of stainless equipment (Various Shapes & Sizes).
