Job summary

East Bay Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Person to perform local deliveries and assist in warehouse duties. The role involves coordinating with the Warehouse Delivery Center, operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate records.

Candidates should have forklift or order picker experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work safely in a team. A clean DMV record and drug test are required, with lift-gate truck experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test and maintain a clean DMV report.

• Knowledge of safely securing equipment on delivery trucks.

• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in a team.
• Experience driving a 26’ bobtail truck with lift gate.
• Capable of lifting equipment up stairs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Delivery experience preferred.

About the role

• The Delivery Person is responsible for local deliveries independently and/or assisting current crews. Responsibilities include maintaining radio or telephone contact with the Warehouse Delivery Center to receive delivery and/or pickup instructions, warehouse organization, shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse duties as assigned.
