Zuern Building Products, Inc. is hiring for a Delivery Team member at our Cross Plains location. The role focuses on loading, transporting, and delivering building materials while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

You will verify loads, operate delivery vehicles, and work with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. Forklift certification is required or obtainable after hire; strong time management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of safe material handling, load securement, and transportation practices.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and equipment in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Familiarity with navigation systems and efficient route navigation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet schedules.
• Excellent customer service and professional interaction with customers and dispatchers.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies while loading, transporting, and unloading materials.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, customers, and team members for timely deliveries.
• Assist in loading delivery vehicles and verifying loads.
• Inspect invoices and delivery docs for accuracy and load safety.
• Perform tie-down and load security inspections.
• Safely transport materials and returns to customer locations.
• Inspect sites and unload materials while protecting customer property.
• Meet delivery deadlines with safety and service standards.
• Take and upload delivery photos using BisTrack app.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with loading customer orders and stocking inventory as needed.
• Maintain facility, equipment, and inventory cleanliness and organization.
• Protect materials from damage during loading, transport, and storage.
