This safety-sensitive role requires high attentiveness and reliable performance, with duties including route logging, vehicle inspections, and proper handling of loads for secure transport. A clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates company furnished vehicles safely and in compliance with road regulations.
• Completes daily driving logs.
• Follows routes and schedules using a company-issued iPad.
• Inspects vehicles before and after trips and reports maintenance issues the same day.
• Fuels delivery vehicles using a company credit card and submits fueling paperwork daily.
• Ensures proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage.
• Uses ratchet straps to secure loads and seeks help when necessary.
• Obtains delivery confirmations, signatures, or proof of receipt as required.
• Provides professional customer service during deliveries and maintains delivery records.
