Job summary

Weller Truck Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate company vehicles safely and deliver products to customers, while providing outstanding service and adhering to traffic laws. This role is safety-sensitive and requires high attentiveness to safety protocols to protect associates, customers, and the public.

Responsibilities include completing daily driving logs, following routes on an iPad, inspecting vehicles, and securing loads.

Qualifications

Delivery driver experience is preferred and beneficial.
Strong time management and customer service skills required.
Ability to operate GPS devices and navigation apps safely.

Responsibilities

Operates company furnished vehicles constantly while obeying all safety and road regulations.
Completes daily driving logs.
Follows assigned routes and schedules through the use of a company issued iPad.
Inspects vehicles before and after trips, reporting issues the same day.
Fuels delivery vehicles using a company credit card and submits fueling documentation daily.
Ensures proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage.
Uses ratchet straps for securing loads and seeks help when needed.
Obtains delivery confirmations, signatures, or proof of receipt when required.
Provides exceptionally professional customer service during deliveries.
Keeps delivery records up to date.
Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle and assists with warehouse tasks as needed.
