Placements24 in Welkom is seeking a dedicated Local Delivery Driver to operate our fleet, delivering products to businesses and residences with promptness and professionalism.

You will use GPS to navigate the Welkom region, load and secure packages, and provide excellent customer service while documenting deliveries. A Code 10 with PDP is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 driver's license with PDP.
• Previous experience in local delivery driving is essential.
• Good knowledge of the Welkom and surrounding Free State area.
• Physical ability to handle packages of various sizes and weights.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a designated fleet vehicle for local deliveries throughout the Welkom region.
• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring they are correctly organized for delivery.
• Utilize GPS and route optimization tools to ensure timely deliveries.
• Interact professionally with customers, confirming delivery details and securing necessary documentation.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies to the operations manager immediately.
