Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Code 10/14 driver's license with PrDP.
• At least 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably with fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of Welkom area and surrounding routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate company fleet vehicles (trucks/vans) to transport goods.
• Adhere to schedules and ensure timely deliveries across the Free State.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery confirmations, and maintenance records.
• Load and unload cargo securely and manage inventory.
• Report incidents or vehicle malfunctions to management immediately.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be comfortable with long-distance driving and possess excellent navigation skills, playing a crucial role in the timely fulfillment of delivery schedules and maintaining the operational integrity of our client's fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company fleet vehicles, including trucks and vans, for transportation of goods.
• Adhere to strict schedules and ensure timely deliveries across the Free State .
• Conduct daily inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery confirmations, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and inventory management.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to management.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 or 14 driver's license with PrDP.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably with fleet operations.
