Loffredo Fresh Foods in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver for local delivery based out of our Kansas City branch. You will touch freight, provide excellent customer service, verify orders for accuracy, inspect products for damage, and maintain delivery records.

Position pays $27 per hour with start times at 5 PM or 10 AM. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match after 6 months, paid time off and holidays, and options like daily pay.

Qualifications

• Valid interstate driver's license (21+) required.
• Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on route).
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation.
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry).
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen.
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines.
• Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions.
• Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally.

Our drivers touch freight!As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.

Pay: $27 per hour

Hours:

• Start Time: 5 PM or 10 AM
