Job summary

Loffredo Fresh Foods is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver for local deliveries out of our Council Bluffs, IA branch. You will interact with customers, verify orders, and ensure a positive delivery experience while maintaining accurate delivery records.

Pay is $25 per hour with a schedule that includes Saturdays and weekday days off. Qualifications include a valid interstate license (21+), ability to work early hours, and DOT compliance readiness. Training and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license
• 21+ years or older
• Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route)
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
• Must be able to read and write English
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
• Must be comfortable driving tractor trailers

Responsibilities

• Safety first. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
• Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions.
• Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

Our drivers touch freight!As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.

Pay: $25 per hour
