Loffredo Fresh Foods in DeForest, WI is hiring a Part Time or Full Time Class A Delivery Driver for local deliveries from our DeForest branch. This local role requires CDL Class A, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service.

You will touch freight and ensure accurate delivery interactions with customers. You will also assist in shuttle coverage between branches, operate Class A/B vehicles, and report to the Madison area as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older.
• Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route).
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation.
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry).
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen.
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders.
• Must be comfortable driving a tractor trailer.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
• Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
• Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

Our drivers touch freight!As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries. This role would also assist in covering shuttles, where you drive a trailer to one of our other branches, swap trailers, and bring it back to Madison. This position would drive both Class B and Class A vehicles

Pay: Depends on verifiable driving experience

• Less than 2 years: $27
• 2 – 9 years: $28
• 10+ years: $29

Schedule:

• Full Time
  • Monday - Friday with a Saturday Rotation, Occasional Sunday Coverage
  • Days Off - 1 week day and 1 weekend, or 2 weekend days depending on rotation
  • Start Time: 2 AM - 5 AM till route completed
• Part Time
  • Working 2 – 3 days a week, flexibility needed as it can vary dependent on needs
  • Weekend Availability Needed
  • Start Time: Early to Mid-Morning depending on which route you are taking
