Join a dynamic team as a safety-focused Truck Driver at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. and help make the world more productive every day!

Location: Nederland, TX

Role Overview: Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and related products. This involves following a computer-generated local route to customer locations, loading/unloading at client sites, and engaging with customers to provide excellent service.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver products to customers, making 10-12 stops daily, handling freight, completing paperwork, and ensuring excellent customer service.
2. Accurately record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
3. Complete hazardous material shipping paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
4. Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
5. Identify vehicle maintenance needs.
6. Build relationships with customers to meet business and customer goals.
7. Continuously learn about Linde’s operations to support organizational growth.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from an accredited Truck Driving School.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Current Hazmat Endorsement preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Pass DOT physical and obtain medical certification.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Strong organizational, listening, and communication skills.
• Uphold high standards of honesty and integrity.
• Commitment to safety and fostering a positive work environment.
