Location: Sacramento, CA

Position: Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

Linde drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and related products, following a computer-generated local route to customer locations. This role involves physical activity, including loading and unloading at client sites. Drivers engage with customers by responding to their needs and providing excellent customer service.

• Pay range: $24.17 - $35.46 hourly (commensurate with experience)

What you will be doing:

• Deliver products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping documentation in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify needs for vehicle repairs or maintenance
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer needs
• Continuously expand your knowledge of Linde’s operations to support organizational growth
• Other duties as assigned

What makes you great:

• At least 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from an accredited Truck Driving School
• Valid Class A or B CDL required
• Current Hazmat Endorsement preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years
• Pass DOT physical and obtain medical certification
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills
