Position delivers products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, etc. (average of 15-20 stops per day). Drives the delivery vehicle, unloads, and brings products into the store. Responsible for ongoing rotating and stocking of products on store shelves, displays, vending equipment, and in coolers. Builds displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Generates invoices and handles daily settlement of cash and charges. Has frequent interaction with store management.

This role is labor-intensive, requiring lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling a high volume of cases per day, ranging from 20-45 pounds per case. It also involves reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising, often in various weather conditions. Long work hours may be required during peak seasons.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Deliver products, serve customers, and execute all promotions across multiple stores daily.
2. Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license, performing basic driving functions.
3. Service all scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
4. Merchandise and rotate all accounts to local standards, including filling shelves, building displays, and removing out-of-date products.
5. Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products.
6. Establish positive relationships with primary contacts at each account.
7. Comply with operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and following routes.
8. Communicate effectively with customers, building rapport and attentiveness to needs.
9. Follow DOT regulations and maintain reliable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Pass drug test and physical capabilities test.
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (with specific regional considerations).

Note: In California, specific location-based licensing requirements apply.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Operating trucks with a valid CDL.
• Delivering products directly to stores.
• Merchandising and rotating products.
• Operating handheld computers and warehouse equipment.
• Working in warehouse environments.
