Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Oxnard, CA is hiring a delivery driver. You will deliver products to customers, making 10–12 stops per day, handle freight and paperwork, and provide excellent service. A valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement is required, with a 21+ age minimum.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report needed maintenance, and uphold DOT regulations. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification.
• Hazmat endorsement required or obtainable within 60 days of hire.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• No major violations in past two years; no alcohol-related convictions in ten years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, 10–12 stops per day, with documentation and customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of delivered/picked up products.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Youwill deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops perday, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellentcustomer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products deliveredand picked up
• You are expected to completehazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOTregulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• You will build both relationships and partnerships with internal andexternal customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customerneeds
• You will continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operatesand succeeds to help organization to continue growing

What makes you great

• Youhave a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading andwriting in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recentcertification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A CDL
• This role requires you to be 21years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain onewithin 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have anypreventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 poundsis required
