Thermal Supply, a Daikin Comfort Technologies Company, is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our HVAC Local Delivery Driver (Box Truck) position at our Seattle, WA branch. The Driver is responsible for the safe operation of company trucks for timely delivery of products to customer and company locations. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, transferring products, and providing high-quality customer service. The role also involves assisting with warehouse duties and front counter responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames safely, using the most efficient routes.
• Maintain logs and reports to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Safely load, block, brace, and secure cargo.
• Ensure compliance with driving and transportation laws and regulations.
• Operate forklifts safely to transfer, load, and unload products, ensuring accuracy.
• Perform pre- and post-operation checks on vehicles and forklifts.
• Support warehouse duties, ensuring correct loading and transfer of products.
• Report accidents, damages, violations, or concerns immediately to management.
• Follow safety and housekeeping practices at all times.
• Act as backup for warehouse and front counter duties as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support business needs.

Knowledge and Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and ordering.
• Ability to load and unload products successfully.
