Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a driver to handle local delivery routes in Morristown, TN. The schedule runs Monday through Friday with an early 3am–6am dispatch time. Pay is $20.00 per hour, and the company covers CDL terms per policy.

This role requires safety compliance, DOT adherence, and customer-facing responsibilities. Responsibilities include pre/post trip checks, loading/unloading, securing freight, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license with clean MVR (past 3 years).
• Must be 21+ and able to pass drug test and road test.
• Ability to lift 60–90 pounds and operate lift equipment.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks before and after trips per DOT guidelines.
• Drive local routes and deliver orders on schedule.
• Inspect, secure, and unload freight; obtain customer signatures; handle payments if required.
• Keep vehicle clean and secured; complete hours-of-service logs.
• Report safety issues and assist with related duties as needed.
