Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled delivery driver for local routes with occasional overnight stays. The role features a $400 daily pay rate, early start schedule Monday through Saturday, and comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

You will be responsible for safe and timely deliveries, interfacing with customers, completing paperwork, and maintaining vehicle safety checks in compliance with DOT regulations. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR (past 3 years).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Drive and deliver orders via intrastate and interstate routes, including overnights as needed.
• Communicate with customers professionally and verify deliveries with signatures.
• Complete required paperwork accurately for each delivery (invoices, freight docs).
• Move and unload freight using appropriate equipment; ensure loads are secured.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards immediately.
