Job summary

Performance Food Group in Morristown, TN is seeking a Local Delivery Driver for early-morning routes. You will drive a straight truck or van, unload products, and ensure safe, accurate deliveries to customers on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role requires a valid license, 21+, clean MVR, and ability to lift up to 90 pounds. Benefits include health, retirement, and education assistance as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Able to lift and move freight up to ~90 pounds when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on truck/van and trailer per DOT rules.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Inspect load for proper securing; verify invoices for loaded items.
• Drive to deliver orders according to schedule.
• Unload, place items in customer storage; obtain signatures; handle payments if needed.
• Ensure vehicle is locked/secured; document hours of service daily.
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor, dock area and trailers; complete paperwork.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
