Job summary

Staffmark in Madison Heights, MI is hiring a Local Delivery Driver. The role starts at 7:00 AM, with 10–12 hour shifts, 3–4 days per week, and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

You will safely operate a cargo van within a 100-mile radius, deliver perishable products, and provide professional customer service while keeping accurate logs. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable delivery driving experience in a Sprinter Van, Box Truck, or similar vehicle.
• Previous delivery routes must have included 80+ stops per day.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cargo van to deliver products within a 100-mile radius of the warehouse.
• Transport boxes of perishable products while maintaining product quality.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Verify inventory counts and delivery accuracy.
• Maintain delivery logs and handheld electronic records.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during every delivery.
