Job summary

C J Creek Logistics LLC is hiring a Delivery Driver in Madison, TN to ensure timely and safe delivery of packages. You will drive a company vehicle, perform safety inspections, and provide excellent customer service under varying conditions.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating with GPS, and communicating with the support team to meet daily delivery targets. A clean driving record and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
• Ability to safely operate and navigate a van up to gross weight 10,000 lbs.
• Ability to effectively operate a GPS and additional handheld technology.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of climbing up and down stairs many times a day.

Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

Job description

Compensation

• $21.25+ / hour (paid biweekly)
• 10-hour shifts are typical
• 4-day workweek (40 hours) is typical - at least one weekend day is required.
• Expect daytime shift with future potential to work Mid-dayshift due to business needs
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break
