Role Purpose

To safely deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner while supporting warehouse operations and ensuring high standards of service, safety, and accuracy.

As a Driver, you will:

• Operate various delivery vehicles.
• Transport products and material to and from specified destinations.
• Load and unload the delivery vehicle.
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor/leader/manager to receive delivery or pick up instructions.
• Check truck’s equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness. Notify supervisor/leader/manager of current or anticipated repairs.
• Collect payment for C.O.D. orders.
• Perform filling, checking, and packaging of orders for shipment.
• Aid throughout the warehouse upon request from supervisor/leader/manager.
• Frequently lift, carry or otherwise move and position product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products. Typically bend, stoop and/or crouch from various heights on a regular basis to stock or deliver product to a customer.
• Operate forklift: proper training and certification required. May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies & handcart).
• Clean truck and maintain work area to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
• Assist in creating, implementing and revising work procedures and instructions.
• Support the quality initiatives set forth by the region.

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Include

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with local driving area and previous delivery experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• You must conduct professionally when dealing with customers and staff.

Working Conditions

Normal warehouse environment 6-8 hours of daily driving
