Job summary

Lowney's Landscaping Center Inc is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to safely transport landscaping materials and equipment to residential and commercial sites. This role involves driving company vehicles, loading and unloading, and supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license with a clean record, the ability to lift heavy objects, knowledge of local streets, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver landscaping materials and equipment.
• Load and unload materials at job sites and transport equipment as needed.
• Maintain delivery records and complete required paperwork.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on deliveries.

What you'll be doing as a Local Delivery Driver:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver landscaping materials and equipment
• Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites as well as the transportation of equipment to job sites in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not on deliveries

What you'll bring to the table as a Local Delivery Driver:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
