Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking an experienced Stepdown/PCU RN for FirstChoice travel assignments. This night-shift role on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit offers premium compensation and flexibility.

Assignments run 13 weeks, 3x12 hour shifts (7p–7a) with a gross hourly rate of $81. You may float to other units or locations within the system, supporting high-quality patient care across the health network.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN Michigan License.
• Minimum 18 months of acute care bedside experience for PCU.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• American Heart Association ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and ensure patient outcomes.
• Operate within licensed scope and delegate appropriately.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse patient needs.

What you will do:

• Provide high-quality, patient‑centered care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions.

• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.

• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area.

• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes.

• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes.

• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities.

• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
