Job Function

• Day Shift or Night Shift.
• 4x10.
• Provides individualized post-operative nursing care following anesthesiologist or physician orders.
• Documents nursing activities and completes discharge notes when patients are ready for transfer.
• Ensures all equipment and supplies are stocked and accessible.
• Monitors and records vital signs and consciousness levels according to procedure.
• Assists anesthesiologist or attending physician as needed.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state of Massachusetts.
• 2 years of acute Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
