Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Manchester, CT.

Job Function:

• Evening shift.
• 3pm - 11pm.

Prepare, administer (orally, subcutaneously, or via IV), and document prescribed medications.

Report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments, adhering to policies for medication administration by a licensed registered nurse.

Educate patients on surgical procedures, providing clear instructions and support.

Accurately record patients' medical information and vital signs.

Monitor, adjust, and interpret specialized equipment used on patients, ensuring proper functionality and accurate data recording.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a BSN.

Current and valid RN license for the state of Connecticut.

2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
