Job summary

Medlivo is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine for a local contract position in Marquette, Michigan. The role covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, typically 12-hour day shifts in the main ED, with Cerner as the electronic medical record and a Level II trauma designation.

Compensation is $100–$120 per hour, with orientation on December 23, followed by shifts December 24–27, and potential future dates.

Qualifications

• Board certified NP or PA.
• Current Michigan license.
• Michigan controlled substance license.
• DEA registration.
• AHA BLS required.
• ED experience with both adult and pediatric patients.
• Experience performing standard ED procedures.
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, and treat ED patients.
• Perform triage and standard emergency procedures.
• Manage high-acuity cases and make rapid clinical decisions.
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans in Cerner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and ancillary staff.
• Participate in admissions and patient handoffs.
