Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Full-timePosition Summary:

We are seeking an efficient, patient, and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our high-volume outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, experienced in working with both children and adults, and skilled in carrying out patient studies, dosing, and quality control procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures.
  • Prepare and administer IVs and patient doses.
  • Process and print scan images before the end of the workday.
  • Conduct daily camera and hot lab quality control checks.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date logbook.
  • Perform sealed source leak tests, calibrator linearity tests, and other regulatory assessments.
  • Order correct isotope vials a day before scans.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all procedures and test results.
  • Manage medical supplies inventory.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in the applicable state.
  • Ability to efficiently handle large patient volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when working with challenging patients.
  • Effective time management, organization, and teamwork abilities.
  • Empathy and emotional stability for patient care.
  • Familiarity with brain imaging (Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus).
