Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Class B Local Truck Driver for the Salt Lake City, UT area. The role requires operating a straight truck, loading and unloading freight, and delivering reliable customer service on a daily schedule.

Pay starts at $27.36/hour with full health benefits from day one, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match, and education assistance. This is a full-time, exempt position in the LTL unit. Endorsements and safety qualifications are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL without air brake restriction required.
• Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule up to 12–14 hours per day including day, night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR 26,001 lb.+)
• Provide excellent customer service and generate sales leads
• Load and unload freight
• Adhere to State regulations for intrastate straight trucks
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack as needed
