Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Class B Local Truck Driver to join our LTL team.

You will operate straight trucks, load and unload freight, and provide excellent service to customers while meeting safety and regulatory requirements. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range, full health insurance on day one, life and disability insurance, PTO, paid holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass DOT drug test with no prior positives or refusals.
• Pass company DOT physical and pre-hire test.
• Available for a flexible schedule up to 12–14 hours daily (day, night, weekend).
• Have or obtain Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify Non-Exempt Interstate.
• Willing to obtain hazmat and tank endorsements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR 26,001 lb. or more).
• Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate truck per state intrastate regulations.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack to load/unload freight.
