Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Class B Driver in the Seattle area. The role involves safely operating straight trucks, loading and unloading freight, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test with essential functions.
• Availability for a flexible schedule up to 12–14 hours per day, including day, night and weekend shifts.
• Have or obtain a Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify as Non-Exempt Interstate.
• Willing to obtain hazardous materials and tank endorsements within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR or GVW of 26,001 lb. or more).
• Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate a straight truck according to state regulations for intrastate straight trucks.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freight.
