Job summary

CTDI is seeking a CDL A professional to operate and deliver goods across regional routes from our Virginia operations. You will inspect, load, secure, and document cargo, while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) and endorsements.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card and maintain a complete US DOT driver qualification file.
• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Completes vehicle inspection sheets, fuel logs, daily logs, bills of lading, trip records and reports.
• Ensures cargo is loaded, checked, and securely strapped during transit.
• Oversees loading/unloading of cargo for secure transit.
• Collects signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provides professional customer service and represents the company positively.
• Follows all Federal and State DOT regulations and warehouse safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
