MAINE OXY-ACETYLENE SUPPLY COMPANY in Rockland, ME is seeking a Class B CDL Driver who will run scheduled local routes delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep accurate manifests and paperwork, and build strong customer relationships while following all DOT and OSHA regulations. The position offers $29–$30 hourly with overtime, company-provided healthcare, and a safety‑minded team.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes.
• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years.
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards.
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry.
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues.
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts.
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional.
