Maine Oxy- Acetylene Supply Company is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for local routes in Milford, MA. You will deliver compressed and liquid cylinders, then return home each night. Enjoy a steady schedule with overtime and a safety‑driven team.

Starting pay is $29/hour with a $2,500 signing bonus. This full-time role includes company-paid health care, disability coverage, a 401(k) with match, and paid time off. You’ll operate a well‑maintained fleet and stay compliant with DOT/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes required.
• 21+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year driving experience or recent driving school training.
• Clean driving record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in 3 years.
• DOT physical qualification required.
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and perform basic computer order entry.
• Gas cylinder handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive scheduled local routes delivering cylinders and hard goods.
• Return empties for refilling and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate load manifests and vehicle paperwork.
• Build strong customer relationships and manage cylinder needs.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Follow DOT and OSHA regulations and keep truck clean and professional.
