Job summary

Maine Oxy in Milford, MA is hiring a Class B CDL Driver for our local distribution team. You will run a scheduled local route delivering compressed gas cylinders, liquids, and hard goods, then head home at the end of the day.

Starting at $29/hour with a $2,500 signing bonus, overtime available, and a comprehensive benefits package. You’ll perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep accurate manifests and paperwork, and build strong customer relationships on a safety-first team.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes.
• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional
