Job summary

Clean Harbors in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites, including Vacuum Trailer, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and high-powered vacuum loaders. This role covers driving and non-driving duties on and off sites related to hazardous waste cleanup.

Responsibilities include safety emphasis, operating various Class B trucks, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical as required by position.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and manual transmission experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial Class B trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks; ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports; observe safety guidelines.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials as needed.
