Job summary

Mawson Lumber & Hardware in Fort Collins is seeking a reliable Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our small, dedicated team. You will load, transport, and deliver lumber and building materials to residential and commercial sites, representing Mawson on the road and at customer sites.

The role offers steady daytime hours, a Monday through Friday schedule, and a focus on safety, accuracy, and friendly service. If you take pride in safe driving and hands-on work, we'd like to meet you.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of delivery or commercial driving experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT hours-of-service and safety regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B delivery vehicles including flatbed/box trucks.
• Load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Verify delivery instructions and confirm orders with dispatch.
• Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before loading.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery logs and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and confirm delivery placement.
• Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws and safety policies.
• Assist in the yard or warehouse as needed.
