Job summary

Oak Harbor Freight Lines seeks a CDL Class A Truck Driver/ P&D in Washington state for local pickups and deliveries. You will handle freight with care, document shipments, and provide excellent customer service within the Oak Harbor network.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, at least one year of verifiable driving, DOT medical certification, and a clean driving record. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with verifiable driving experience.
• DOT medical certification up to date.
• Clean driving record with no DUI in 3 years.
• Ability to communicate with customers and dispatchers.
• Basic English reading/writing/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and move freight safely using forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Record shipment counts and conditions to minimize cargo claims.
• Deliver to multiple customers with high levels of service.
• Maintain electronic records and delivery paperwork.
• Follow loading, unloading, and hazardous material handling instructions.
• Make reliable decisions to maximize efficiency while meeting customer expectations.
• Travel to nearby terminals as needed and work varying shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
