48forty Solutions in Savannah, GA is hiring a Local Class A Driver to run local truckload deliveries with no touch freight and daily home time.

You’ll drive an automatic 53’ truck, perform drop-and-hook work within 100 miles, and start shifts between 6:00am and 8:00am, Monday–Friday.

Requirements include 1 year CDL-A in the past 3 years, age 23+, valid CDL, DOT physical, no major violations, and English proficiency. Benefits include competitive pay, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• No record of being disqualified to drive.
• Successful completion of a DOT road test.
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 100 miles.
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van.
