Job summary

Clean Harbors in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Class A Driver to run local routes and transport waste to facilities. The role involves light touch freight, proper hazmat handling, and DOT compliance. The schedule is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.
• 1+ years of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned routes for scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Ensure drums and other containers are properly segregated, secured, and transported.
• Follow vehicle weight requirements and properly use Company equipment.
• Properly placard vehicles according to Company and DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, worksheets, timecards, expense reports, dispatch reports, trip reports, and vehicle inspection records.
• Communicate regularly with Coordinators regarding daily schedules, delays, and demurrage.
• Inspect, maintain, and clean assigned Company vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure assigned equipment remains mechanically sound and in safe working condition.
• Maintain all required DOT, OSHA, RCRA, and Company training records.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Follow all Company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
