Merchants Metals is seeking a local, dedicated Class A CDL Driver who can operate a manual transmission. The role involves driving, cargo load securement, and warehouse support as needed, with overtime as required.

Strong safety focus and knowledge of ELD/GPS systems are essential. Requirements include 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience, 12 months of flatbed operation, and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.

Competenze

• 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• 12 months of experience operating a flatbed truck.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Experience with strapping/securement.
• Registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logging requirements, GPS systems, and ability to read maps.
• Clean driving record and diligent attention to safety.
• Moffett experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift skills required.

Mansioni

• Operate and drive a commercial truck safely after pre/post-trip inspections.
• Secure cargo and maintain proper load securement during trips.
• Complete required paperwork related to freight movements and deliveries.
• Use truck cab computers/tablets, CB radios, GPS, and other devices for communication.
• Perform overtime duties as needed.
• Assist with warehouse and yard duties on non-driving days.
