Job summary

George Moving & Storage, Inc is seeking a reliable Local CDL Driver to perform delivery runs in/around Pittsburgh, PA. This full-time local role offers daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends/overtime, and competitive hourly pay.

You will operate a commercial vehicle, pass DOT screenings, and support loading, unloading, and communication with dispatch and customers while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean MVR and driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery documentation.
• Assist in loading and unloading product from trucks.
• Direct helpers in performance of work.
• Direct crew to complete job in efficient, safe manner and in accordance with customer's expectations and job requirements.
• Participate in commercial office moves as scheduled by management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Follow all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
