Job summary

National Trench Safety is seeking a Class A CDL Driver, non-crane certified, to deliver and pick up trench-related shoring to customer sites safely and on time. The role requires adherence to DOT/FMCSR policies and our safety program, with a focus on load securement and accurate documentation.

This safety-sensitive position requires a valid Class A CDL, Medical Examiner's Certificate, reliable driving history, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct experience driving vehicles requiring a Class A CDL preferred.
• Current Class A CDL issued by the State DMV.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate per FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41-391.49.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
• Comply with DOT regulations and maintain logs and credentials.
• Deliver and pick up shoring and plates to/from job sites; multiple loads daily.
• Load/unload occasionally and assist with yard operations.
• Maintain delivery documents and report issues to management.
• Communicate delivery schedules and address problems promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance.
