Job summary

WizeHire, Inc is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to haul recycled ferrous and nonferrous metals across Wisconsin and neighboring reciprocity areas, with home every night. You will operate roll-off equipment, manage local and semi-local routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain DOT-compliant paperwork, while communicating professionally with customers and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience hauling scrap metal or similar cargo.
• Class A CDL with clean driving record preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and proper load securement.

Responsibilities

• Safely and promptly deliver, pick up, and exchange scrap-metal containers.
• Operate on local and semi-local routes.
• Inspect, secure, and prepare loads for safe road travel.
• Operate roll-off equipment and occasionally pull a pup trailer.
• Complete required vehicle inspections and transportation paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers.
• Follow all company procedures and DOT safety regulations.
