Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Groveport, OH to deliver equipment to customers safely and efficiently. You’ll be home every night and act as a company ambassador with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, maintaining logs, conducting pre-trip inspections, and advising customers on additional equipment needs. A valid CDL A and 2+ years of DOT driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• CDL A with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years DOT-regulated driving experience.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers.
• Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety rules.
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Perform other duties as needed.
