Job summary

PSC Group in Illinois is seeking a Local CDL/ Truck Driver (Class A) with home daily. You will operate company-owned equipment on short-haul routes, perform inspections, and log hours per DOT regulations.

Ideal candidates have a Class A CDL with at least 2 years of experience, a Tank endorsement, and must pass DOT physical and hair follicle drug screening. Military experience is a plus and the role offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Valid Class A CDL Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years recorded experience.
• Tank endorsement is required.
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Previous military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate shunting/tank trailers and box trailers to load/offload areas around the plant and customer locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and log hours per DOT regulations.
• Manage equipment, tools, and paperwork; drive to required areas.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and Unit Still Person on work activities and scope.
• Complete minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Conduct JSAs and permitting with crew; understand safety conditions and hazards.
