PSC Group in Illinois is hiring Local Class A CDL Drivers for home daily routes supporting our plastics industry customers. You will operate shunting/tank and box trailers, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain DOT logs, while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience and ability to meet DOT rules.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment hair follicle test.
• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate shunting/tank and box trailers to load/offload areas.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and log hours per DOT.
• Manage equipment, tools, and paperwork; drive to needed areas.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and Unit Still Person on tasks.
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Complete JSA's and permits with crew; adhere to safety conditions.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned to complete the job.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of shunting/tank trailers and box trailers to specific load/offload areas around the plant and customers warehouse location.
• Performs pre & post trip inspections and logs hours in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Manages equipment, tools, and paperwork required as well as drives the equipment to needed areas.
• Coordinates with Supervisor and Unit Still Person to manage work activities and job scope.
• Completes minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Performs JSA's and permitting with the crew and understands safety conditions and hazards.
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

Job Qualifications

• Must possess a Valid Class A CDL Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years recorded experience
• Tanker endorsement is required
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Work Schedule

12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
