Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on delivering equipment safely, maintaining logs, and providing excellent customer service while representing the company.

You will operate trucks and boom/crane equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations. Strong teamwork and physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers safely and timely.
• Operate construction equipment and trailers per DOT/CDL rules.
• Maintain driver’s logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Recommend additional equipment or supplies as needed.
• Operate boom trucks and cranes per manufacturer specs.
