Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to operate a tractor trailer (flatbed or dump) for metals transport to our processing site. The role is outdoors in varied weather, with safety standards aligned to the Metals Recycling industry.

The position runs Monday–Friday on 1st shift, with overtime and occasional Saturdays; drivers are home each night and benefit from competitive pay, medical plans, a 401(k) match, weekly pay, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; 3+ years of driving experience.
• Must pass a DOT physical and FMCSA background check.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers per DOT.
• Transport and deliver materials from suppliers to SA Recycling facilities as directed by dispatch.
• Secure cargo with chains, straps, binders, and tarps.
• Communicate safety or equipment issues with management.
• Operate safely on staging areas, parking surfaces, and roads.
• Maintain logs of hours and vehicle service status.
